Our Real Assets division invests in tangible assets, seeking to provide clients with sustainable yield and long-term capital growth.
Comprising Forestry, Housing, Renewables, Battery Energy Storage, Commercial Property, and Sustainable Infrastructure, our Real Assets division aims to provide investors with protection from inflation and portfolio diversification via proven, sustainable alternative investments. In many cases, they also provide the potential for uncorrelated returns to equity markets as well as diversified sources of income.
Our Real Assets investments assess ESG factors from a risk and opportunities perspective to generate the potential for at least market-level investment returns. Our funds also aim to actively contribute towards solutions to some of the largest environmental and societal challenges.
Co-Founder and MD of Real Estate, Gresham House Ireland. He has over 35 years experience in property and investment management and was previously Managing Director of Treasury Holdings Ireland having joined the company in 2000. Before that he was Head of Property with AIB Investment Managers Ltd.
In 2001 he served as President of the Society of Chartered Surveyors in Ireland (SCSI). He is a Fellow of the SCSI and of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has an MBA from University College Dublin and was the Chairman of the Urban Land Institute Ireland.
Katie joined Gresham House in August 2023.
Prior to joining Gresham House, Katie completed a Corporate Finance Graduate Programme with the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA), which involved three eight-month rotations in Irelands Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF), NewERA and the National Development Finance Agency (NDFA).
Katie holds a MEconSc in International Finance and completed a six-month study abroad at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Steven has 12 years’ experience in the real estate sector and specialises in large scale office management and retail shopping centres.
Before joining Gresham House Ireland Real Estate he worked in CBRE from 2006 to 2015 and was responsible for the office property management team, managing many high profile instructions including Central Park Sandyford.
Steven is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and a has an honours degree in Property Economics & Estate Management from the University of Reading, UK.
Tara is a Commercial Property Asset Manager for the Real Estate team in Ireland and has over 16 years of property management experience.
Tara joined Gresham House from CBRE where she was a Director responsible for leading a team to deliver property management services for the UK’s leading commercial funds. Prior to joining CBRE, Tara was Director at Group Workman LLP.
Tara qualified as a Chartered Member of The Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) and of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2014.
She also holds a 1st Class Honors Bachelor’s degree in Property Studies.
Co-Founder and Property Director. He previously worked at Treasury Holdings from 2005 to 2012 as Director of Property where he was responsible for the Asset and Development Management functions and managed a number of large mixed use property portfolios.
Niall has also worked on many high profile retail and office assets prior to joining Treasury Holdings including Dundrum Town Centre (1999 – 2005). Niall has also worked on a number of development projects in Sweden and Russia. He is a chartered member of the Institution of Engineers of Ireland and has a degree in Engineering from Trinity College, Dublin.
Joe joined Gresham House in September 2022 and is an Investment Director in the Forestry team.
His 30-year career spans forestry, manufacturing, energy and technology. With some short spells in the Public Sector, he has spent most of his career in StartUp and Scaling businesses. Having sold a bioenergy business to a multi-disciplinary energy company in 2014 he set up and ran its solar and biomass division. In 2016, he was appointed Chief Commercial Officer for the Group, with responsibility for EBITDA growth across the energy trading, power marketing, asset management and energy solutions businesses as well as developing a pipeline of pre-qualified development opportunities in offshore wind, onshore wind, solar, biomass and energy storage.
Joe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science from University College Dublin and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from University College Cork. He recently completed a Diploma in Company Direction as part of the IoD Chartered Directors’ Programme.
He is a Climate Reality Leader with Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project and a Member of the Jury of the European Innovation in Politics Institute. He is an active investor in early-stage Technology companies, particularly in the eMobility, EdTech and FinTech sectors.
He is on the Board of Directors of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland and also sits on its Audit & Risk Committee.
